Our support functions help to create the foundations for our growth. Each one has a flat structure which means you’ll get lots of variety, exposed to stakeholders at all levels, and work on international projects that benefit large numbers of colleagues and customers across our business. You’ll want to quickly make an impact, and you’ll need to enjoy working at pace and thinking outside your own specialism.

  • Thanks to our size and flat structure, you’ll work across the full range of HR disciplines, specialise or work on global projects.

We’re organised to support every part of our business, so you’ll be working in a business partnering team, in people services, or in one of our centres of excellence, in either reward, global mobility, learning or communications. Wherever you are, you’ll be commercially focused and pragmatic, always starting with the business problem we’re trying to solve.  You’ll quickly build relationships with other disciplines. You’ll be working with people from different parts of the world and with people at every level of our organisation.

Our team supports a diverse and geographically dispersed workforce, so you’ll likely be working across borders, handling cultural and legislative differences, and designing and delivering solutions which enable all our colleagues to be at their best.

Our business is fast paced, so you’ll need to be able to react to changing priorities and implement pragmatic solutions quickly.

  • Our finance teams are key to Aggreko’s success, providing analysis and financial support to help make sure we deliver on our financial performance commitments.

We work in partnership with our outsourcing supplier for most of our transactional processing, which means that we can focus our efforts more on supporting our business leaders and sales and operations teams, using our skills and influence to really add value. Our regional finance teams sit alongside the businesses they support in their respective geographies. Our group specialist functions (of tax, treasury, external reporting etc.) are led from the UK and work closely with each of our regional teams.

Aggreko has significant growth ambitions. To support this, our finance teams need to work at pace and act as trusted advisors who deliver on their commitments. Alongside this business support, we must maintain robust controls and compliance, and the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all that we do.

  • Combining the latest technology with our understanding of the business, we deliver solutions that make life simple for our end users.

Our IT is almost entirely cloud-based which allows us to move at pace.  We combine all our data, including customer, sales and financial data, plus all the telemetry data from our equipment, to create solutions for customers that our competitors can’t.

We're constantly thinking about the end-user experience of our customers or our sales and operations teams. As we’re a global team with global projects and a flat structure, people get to work with colleagues in different regions on a wide variety of initiatives.

To succeed at Aggreko, you need to be a team player, adaptable to different approaches, and able to think outside of the IT world to focus on the end-user.

  • Our legal and compliance function is a key part of our global team, working to support our strategy, ensuring that our company is protected and that we are doing business in the right way.

We work across multiple disciplines and all our jurisdictions, with support from our partner firms. We are part of the group and regional leadership teams so that we are not only legal experts but are also fully aligned with Aggreko’s commercial strategy.

Our business is growing, our M&A activity is continuing, and we work on very interesting and challenging projects. And because of the transition to cleaner energy sources, there are opportunities to develop expertise in renewables and energy solutions that support energy transition.

You’ll need to be flexible. One day you could be working on a contract to supply a high-profile sporting event, the next, a multi-decade energy supply contract, or even an acquisition. That’s why we look for people who are commercially focused who enjoy working at pace.

  • We’re the leading brand in our industry, and our marketing teams are its custodians. From content creation to social media, you’ll help more of our B2B customers benefit from sustainable energy solutions.

Each of our regional marketing teams are embedded in our sales teams, yet part of a global network of marketers. So you’ll be able to directly measure the impact of your work through the sales leads you generate, and yet also be supported by a global brand and inspired by marketing campaigns elsewhere in the world.

Because we are sector specialists, you’ll learn about a range of industries – from data centres to manufacturing – and how our energy solutions can save them money and help them to grow.

And because of our flat structure, you’ll get exposure to everything from the market analysis that informs our strategic direction, to content marketing using thought leadership and case studies.

B2B marketing experience is important. But curiosity and creativity are vital. By learning about our industry, our sectors and the solutions we offer, you’ll then need to use your creativity to generate engaging content that can differentiate our brand.

Studies have shown that some groups of people, like women, are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet 100% of the job requirements. Whoever you are, if you like one of our roles, we encourage you to apply. You might be just the person we’re looking for. Bring your energy. Grow your career.
