What you'll do:
- Responsible for developing detailed, accurate and competitive cost estimates for Aggreko’s hybrid power proposals. This includes working with the Energy Solutions team to conceptualize hybrid power solutions and proceed to develop detailed accurate capital cost estimates for complete hybrid power stations, potentially inclusive of a diesel or gas power station, solar farm, Battery Energy Storage System or Wind farm.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to estimate the cost of materials, labour, equipment, and other resources required for each project.
- Gather and analyse actual costs from projects under construction and recently completed.
- Run tender processes to select project suppliers and subcontractors.
- Contribute to the value assessment of new renewable energy technologies.
- Continuously improve the estimating process by incorporating feedback and best practices
To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:
- 2 years of experience as Cost Estimator.
- Construction, Energy and renewables Industry experience is highly regarded.
- Experience in the development of detailed, accurate project capital costs.
