We usually start with an initial phone call with one of our recruitment team. They’ll tell you more about Aggreko and the role you’re applying for. They’ll ask you some questions to check the role meets your expectations and that your experience matches the requirements for the role. Then, they’ll explain how the interview process will work. For most jobs, that’s an interview with the hiring manager. For some senior and sales roles, we may ask you to prepare a presentation or meet more stakeholders. If you’re applying for a role that involves a presentation, we’ll make sure you’re fully briefed with plenty of time to prepare for it.
-
The best advice is to dress smartly for the job you’re applying for. If you’re applying for an operational role, it’s a good idea to wear steel-toe boots so we can show you around the yard. Otherwise, wear smart, clean clothes that you feel comfortable in. If you have any questions, then please talk to your recruiter because we want you to feel confident.
-
This depends on the role you’re applying for and the seniority of the role. It’s usually only required as part of a second interview after you’ve met the hiring manager. They’ll explain what’s required. They may ask you to prepare a short presentation or, if it’s a technical role, they may want to assess any specialist skills you need to have. If you have any questions, please talk to your recruiter so you feel prepared and confident.

This depends on the role you’re applying for. Talk to your recruiter if you have any concerns.

At Aggreko, working patterns vary depending on the role you’re applying for. Some involve remote working, hybrid working, on-site or shift patterns. This can also be dependent on location. Once you’ve applied, our recruitment team will discuss the role with you. They’ll be able to tell you more about any hybrid working arrangements, so you can check if the role suits you.
-
This really depends on the role you’re applying for. Many roles are entirely based at one site with no travel expectations, whereas others will involve a lot of travel. If you’re interested in a role but have questions about the amount of travel involved, please still apply. Our recruitment team will be able to tell you more about any travel requirements, so you can check if the role suits you.

To be considered for a role in the UK or Ireland, you need to be eligible to work in that country. We can only sponsor visas for particularly specialist roles.

We offer very competitive salaries, and everyone is eligible for a performance-related bonus or incentive scheme. Read more about our rewards and benefits. And, after you’ve applied, if you’ve got any role-specific questions it’s best to discuss those when you talk to one of our recruitment team.
