Legal PRIME

Join our legal team for work experience

We’ve joined PRIME, which is an alliance of law firms and in-house legal teams across the UK committed to improving access to the legal profession through work experience. We were the first in-house legal team to launch the PRIME programme in 2024 and we’re looking forward to welcoming even more students in June 2025.

About Aggreko’s legal team

Aggreko is a world-leading energy solutions business with a global in-house legal team working across various legal disciplines including:

  • Commercial law – contracts for our equipment, buying parts to build our equipment, negotiating IT contracts and trademark and branding issues.

  • Corporate law – such as buying other businesses

  • Regulatory compliance – anti-bribery and corruption, and anti-modern slavery

  • Data protection – keeping personal and other information safe

Our PRIME programme

We’re running a one-week work experience programme for 10 students to join our UK based legal team, starting on 16 June 2025. You’ll be based in Lomondgate, Dumbarton, work with the legal team but also see the other parts of the business that make up Aggreko such as our manufacturing facility, service and repair centre and other support teams.

We will help you to grow the skills you’ll need to succeed in a career in law with practical activities, seminars and a visit to a law firm. We will also give you some insight into what it’s like to study law at university, apply for work and find a job in law that’s right for you.
