We’re looking for Site QHSE Specialist in Aggreko - Mozambique you will ensure that CCSJV Project sites in Mozambique is compliant to company and local legislation in terms of QHSE, as well as in supporting the Project and Operations Team to meet all QHSE Site deliverables in terms of CCSJV and Aggreko’s internal requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor and improve the Health, Safety & Environment in compliance with client systems and processes, local legislations, regulations and company policy.

  • Support identifying potential HSE training requirements and support organizing internal QHSE inductions, the relevant HSE trainings and maintain the training register, calendar, and records as applicable.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits through- out the region covering business facilities and depot / project sites but not limited to identifying potential risks or improvements required.

  • Conduct in depth Investigations for all QHSE related incidents and liaise with local management teams creating corrective and immediate action plans.

  • Support Risk Identification Reporting (RIR) and ensure timely follow up and closure of RIRs and provide consolidated weekly HSE Reports (Risks and Incidents) for the project.

  • Aggreko places a strong emphasis on health, operational safety and environmental protection.  It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation.
     

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • College/associate’s degree in related field or equivalent qualifications.

  • Minimum three years of experience in related field.

  • Qualified in either IOSH or NEBOSH is required.

  • Possession of valid local Driving License as per the need of the business.

  • Has knowledge or experience in mechanical or electrical fields or both is desired.

  • Fluent command of English & Portuguese language, spoken and written

  • Quality oriented with attention to details and capable of working to deadlines
