That’s why we make sure our customers have power, heating, and air conditioning when, where and for however long they need it.
The purpose of the role:
We are currently looking for an Assistant Company Secretary based out of our Bucharest office.

- Support and run the audit process alongside the Deputy Company Secretary on the regional rectification process.
- Proactively support regional teams/subsidiaries with local company requirements such as ad hoc queries and ensure adherence to UK governance standards, legal requirements, and the Group’s Delegation of Authority, where applicable.
- Support board meetings and resolutions throughout the Group (e.g. board packs and minutes).
- Assist group projects (e.g. dividends, capital reductions, incorporations and dissolutions).
- Support the business with ad hoc reverse KYC requests with the support of a third-party provider.
- Assist in managing external legal spending, obtaining estimates, and instructing counsel on acceptable fee levels.

- Experience working within a corporate legal or company secretarial team supporting a large global business supporting company secretarial compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Ideally with a proven track record of identifying deficiencies in company book record keeping and processes and supporting business improvements.

- Be comfortable working within a fast-paced time-constrained environment.
- Skilled at coordinating and communicating clearly with local counsel on regional requirements.
- Experience using GEMS or Diligent (or another company books management platform).
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
