We’re looking for an Equipment Scheduler/Customer Operations Specialist for our location in Singapore, who will be responsible for optimising fleet availability and demand across Singapore & South East Asia. Working closely with the Sales, Operations and Hire Desk Team, this role will also work collaboratively with our Fleet and Projects Planning Manager to ensure available fleet is allocated accordingly to satisfy customer demand and needs. This role will be pivotal to managing movements and sourcing of cross hire requirements across Singapore to support our valued customers.

What you’ll do:
Equipment Scheduling and Fleet Management:
- Acts daily having Safety as a key priority for our business, employees, customers and contractors.
- Ensure the selection of the most appropriate equipment to meet customer needs while optimizing fleet availability across Singapore and Southeast Asia.
- Coordinate equipment allocation with the Hire Desk and Sales teams, communicating schedules and changes effectively.
- Work closely with the Fleet and Projects Planning Manager to maximize equipment utilization and support strategic decisions on equipment purchases and disposals.
- Utilizing the Order Fulfilment technology to aid in the most appropriate equipment that also minimizes any additional costs to Aggreko.
- Validation that the final equipment/package selection will fully meet the requirements of the customer.
- Liaises with Hire Desk team and sales to ensure any variations are understood, communicated and recharged appropriately.
- Allocates fleet to the job, allowing technicians to pick the identified fleet and prepare for the job
- Responsible for the communication of any relevant sales instructions into preparation activities, including the communication of technical needs to technicians for job preparation.
- To maximize equipment utilization across the region
- Feed into strategic planning and equipment purchase and disposal decision making.
Vendor and Contract Management:
- Manage the rehire process with external suppliers, ensuring prompt returns of equipment and proper documentation for POs, recharges, and supplier invoices.
- Handle administrative tasks related to contracts and vendor management, ensuring cost control and accurate record-keeping.
Additional Tasks
- In-person customer service such as planning schedules, product returns, Remote/virtual customer service via phone, email, online chat, or text such as escalated customer issue support, post-sales product support, field service dispatching, etc.
- Processing orders from customers and resolving complaints
- Advising customers on product shortages, expected delivery dates, price changes, etc.
- Acting as liaison between customers, production and distribution departments.
- Raising invoices, chasing payments and first line point of contact for issues with invoice payments (including cash recovery).
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Planning/forecasting, customer service, Logistics and order fulfillment.
- Exposure to ERP systems M3 Cloudsuite or similar would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of an energy rental industry.
- Cost management skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport cross functionally with teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, PowerBi, etc.)
