We are hiring an Intercompany and Tax Accountant where you will be involved in overseeing monthly Intercompany AR invoicing, AP bookings, reconciliations, settlements, and financial reporting compliance (statutory and management) while driving process improvements.

Role Overview:
Acting as a key coordinator for global Intercompany operations with offshore BPO, you will ensure accurate bookings, settlements, and tax compliance (direct and indirect) across international entities. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, especially in audit-sensitive environments, and a proactive approach to meeting strict deadlines. Your contributions will enhance financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and the efficiency of intercompany and tax functions.
What you’ll do:
Review cost bookings and intercompany invoices for compliance with Aggreko policies.
Manage intercompany settlements, including bank payments and AIBV settlements, in coordination with Wipro.
Oversee monthly reporting of intercompany balances in SAF across divisions and review AUFL and loan statement balances monthly.
Validate intercompany, input and output invoices according to tax and transfer pricing guidelines issued by Aggreko and the authorities.
Consolidate Group VAT returns, handle reverse charges, VAT write-offs, filings, and approvals.
Review Balance Sheet account workings for intercompany and VAT accounts, clearing incorrect entries.
Perform WHT calculations and coordinate with consultants for confirmation.
Prepare tax accruals in line with month-end timelines and support tax return workings.
Address audit queries and provide required documentation for the above tasks.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Accounting, Intercompany and Tax Expertise: A deep understanding of Intercompany accounting, tax regulations, and compliance, preferably with prior experience in a similar role.
Attention to Detail: An exceptional eye for detail to ensure precise and accurate accounting and financial reporting.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and identify areas for process improvement.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple divisions, meet strict deadlines, and prioritize work effectively.
Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams, and the intercompany counterparts in other aggreko entities, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively.
Proactive Mindset: A proactive and self-starting attitude to identify opportunities for improvement, recommend and implement process enhancements, and adapt to changing payroll regulations.
