We take career development seriously

We make significant investments in developing people’s skills and, with our flat structure and global footprint, there are always opportunities to grow your career at Aggreko.

  • Because our customers depend on our expertise to solve their problems, we focus on skills and learning.

Our in-person training is outstanding. Whatever your role, when you start with Aggreko, we’ll make sure you have all the right skills to deliver the best service to our customers across our entire fleet. And thanks to our culture of teamwork, there’s always someone nearby who is happy to share their expertise.

Given our range of technologies – from gas generators to battery storage, from HVAC to load banks – there’s always something new to learn. And we encourage people to work towards certifications or accreditations so that even if they leave Aggreko, they have evidence of their skills.

Plus, everyone has access to tens of thousands of online courses. That includes technical training that we’ve developed ourselves about our products and applications and broader LinkedIn Learning courses on everything from project management to photography.

  • We believe in developing people so they have long and successful careers with us. In fact, over a quarter of us have been with Aggreko for ten years or more.

We do this by developing people at the start of their careers with our apprenticeships and graduate programmes. Our flat organisational structure makes it easier to get involved in projects outside your usual area of work, so you get exposure to other parts of Aggreko.

And we have multiple routes for advancement – you could take the more traditional approach into leadership, where you can manage teams of people, or you could focus on your technical expertise and advance into more technical specialist roles.

  • If you’re excited about working internationally, then a global company like ours can make that happen. We have a global mobility team who facilitate temporary and permanent moves so that we’re able to support large international events like Formula 1.

Many of our sales and operations leaders have moved between regions. And whatever your role, you’re never far from an Aggreko office or depot if that’s where you want to be.
