We’re looking for Applications Developer based in Glasgow. The Applications Developer is a hands-on role responsible for the technical quality, alignment, health, and maintenance of products within the Integration Product Group. As a vital member of the Integration Product Group, the position plays a crucial role in driving our product's success and ensuring seamless integration solutions for our clients.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with a highly experienced Agile team, working on cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain applications using .NET technologies, with a focus on seamless integration with REST APIs and Azure services.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, testers, scrum masters, developers, and business analysts to gather requirements, design, build, and test new functionalities.
- Participate in proof-of-concept projects, experimenting with new technologies and approaches to deliver optimal solutions.
- Provide technical expertise on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring the integration of Workday and other applications with our systems.
- Engage in ongoing learning and development, with opportunities to explore different areas such as infrastructure, security, and architecture.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience working within an Agile development environment, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in .NET development, including C# and ASP.NET, with hands-on experience in REST API integration and Azure cloud services.
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team, break off into smaller groups, and engage in constructive challenges.
- Experience working within an established team and contributing to a cohesive team dynamic.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a passion for experimenting with new technologies and delivering innovative solutions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
