The first step to a global career
At Aggreko, we deliver energy solutions all over the world so communities can thrive and businesses can grow.
We electrify Glastonbury using cleaner fuels, use solar to power mines in Australia, help Netflix burn less diesel when they film on location, keep ice rinks frozen around the world, and bring relief when natural disasters strike.
We’re a team of 6,000 specialists from all around the globe. And lots of us began our careers as apprentices or graduates, learning about the technology behind our products.
We have apprenticeships for technicians and engineers and those interested in a career in IT or procurement. And for graduates, you can specialise in finance or HR.
Of course, you can apply for any of our roles if these aren’t quite what you’re looking for. We’ll develop and invest in you wherever you are.
Bring your energy. Grow your career.
People join for different reasons
Breadth of development
Although we're 60 years old, it doesn't feel like it when you work here. So, you can expect the professionalism and high standards of a larger company, without being pigeon-holed into a narrow role.
Every role offers experience and development, because there’s a lot happening to deliver for today’s customers, and build for tomorrow.
"No two days are ever the same."
Support and team atmosphere
There’s always support with your studies and, if you need help, you’ll find someone to guide you. ‘Together’ is one of our core values, so we make sure everyone feels welcome, included, and able to be themselves at work.
“We’ve good camaraderie – everyone is open and honest – I don’t know anyone who’s come here and couldn’t get along with everyone.”
Variety and travel
If you want to travel, all our early careers programmes have the option to do so. Whether as a technician supporting an event or working in the global procurement team, as a global business, the possibilities are endless.
Apprentices have worked on the Women’s World Cup in Australia, seen US presidents at COP26 in Glasgow, and thrilled the crowds at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
“You’ve built it, your name is on it, and now you get to run it – from doing the fuelling to setting up the distribution panels. Everything from the engine down to the phone charger.”
